Wee Man

Born in 1973 in Pisa, Italy, but actually raised in the South Bay region of Los Angeles, California (Torrance, to be exact), Jason \"Wee Man\" Acuna is a self-made entertainer/clown and perhaps the hardest working 4’ 5” in show business. A skateboarder by trade, Acuna got his break in “the biz” as the subscription manager for Big Brother magazine. No longer with us, Big Brother was equal parts hysterical, absurd and outlandish — and undoubtedly the inspiration and influence for the Jackass television series.

Fueled by Monster Energy and surrounded by a bunch of, well, jackasses (Johnny Knoxville among the foremost), Acuna was a major player in the series and some of his stunts would put the Three Stooges to shame. Born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, Wee-Man put his stature with the Jackass fellas to good use by actually kicking himself in the head in one skit, acting as a skating Oompa-Loompa in another, and perhaps in is finest moment, popping out of a suitcases and terrifying its owner.

Onto something good and rapidly becoming a sort of folk hero to the youth of America, Acuna cut a swath through the TV business to where he starred in the reality show Armed and Famous as well as playing other parts in MTV’s Scarred Live and NBC’s Celebrity Circus. Now 35 years old and living in Hermosa Beach, California (another well-worn South Bay beach town), Acuna hangs out with his skateboard buddies and works his Rolodex, picking up one TV gig after another.
